I grew up in a ballet school in Devon, training in, and teaching ballet, tap and modern dance. In my early twenties I swapped my tap shoes for a yoga mat and my journey evolved from yoga being a passion and support in my life, to becoming my full time job, sharing what I practice and study. Drew Yogi's were my first Yoga teachers (whilst studying Forestry at University in Bangor, Wales), then Iyengar Yoga whilst living in Edinburgh. I began my British Wheel of Yoga teacher training in 2005, with Wendy Teasdill in Somerset, where I still live with my husband and two boys. I have been teaching Yoga for more than 20 years and my specialist classes include teaching Yoga to children, adults, mothers with babies, chair yoga and meditation. I offer in-person and hybrid Yoga classes in Somerset, UK and via Zoom. I have enjoyed teaching several Yoga holidays in Kerala, India. In more recent years my practice, training and teaching have been influenced by my interest in meditation and Kum Nye Tibetan Yoga (also known as Kum Nye Tibetan Healing Exercises or Kum Nye Relaxation). I am also passionate about improving wellbeing by sharing the many Yoga resources that reduce the effects of anxiety and trauma.

Yoga teachings are full of resources for reducing the negative effects of anxiety and trauma on the body and mind. I am passionate about helping children and adults develop an awareness of their nervous system and sense of wellbeing. I enjoy sharing tools for managing stress, to improve quality of life and to deepen the feeling of connection to an authentic, meaningful life. My recent areas of study include trauma, Polyvagal Theory and neurodiversity (Autism Spectrum Conditions including Pathological Demand Avoidance profile).

"We have been attending Adele’s yoga classes for two years since moving to Pilton and have no intention of stopping. They are fantastic; a wonderful blend of all aspects of yoga, both physical and spiritual. Having practised yoga for many many years with other wonderful teachers, we both feel that Adele’s yoga classes are on another level. Always varied, Adele shares her own incredibly broad knowledge with us and we feel enriched for it."

"I have attended Adele s classes for very many years. I so value her and her classes and approach that despite moving out of the area I make the effort to return rather than change teachers.
Her classes are inclusive, professional, always including modifications for those with physical limitations and grounded in her own deep knowledge and commitment to the yogic path.
She is very kind, compassionate and goes to great lengths to make the venues warm, clean and inviting. I wholeheartedly recommend her as a yoga teacher."
Judy, Pilton class
"I have been attending Adele’s beautiful yoga classes since 2019. I go each week & really enjoy the developmental nature of the classes. We learn new and different practices, all based within the solid foundations of Hatha Yoga. I particularly like the fact that Adele regularly visits India each year and meets with her teachers in Sherabling and Tergar Oselling Monasteries in the foothills of the Himalayas; and then comes back and shares her new experiences with us through her teaching.
Each class lasts one and a half hours and so we have time for breathing exercises, followed by physical practice and then relaxation and end with mediation, so we are gaining the full benefit from our learning as it consolidates within, during this process."
Claire, Evercreech class
" Adele has been my yoga teacher for nine years. She has an easy manner, is very empathetic with a deep knowledge of all aspects of yoga. I particularly like how she explains benefits of the asanas and suggests alternatives for different abilities. I come away from every class refreshed and relaxed, ready for the day"
